Garbage and Recycling.

OK, maybe it's not really fair to count garbage and recycling in "a thing a day", but hear me out.

It's not just, "I threw out a banana peel." When I was packing for my move, I got rid of:

• Three large black garbage bags of garbage
• One huge orange garbage bag of garbage
• Three bins of paper recycling
• Seven bins of plastic recycling

Lest you think I was living in piles of garbage, no, that's not the case, I just was more brutal with that amount of paperwork I wanted to keep, and just general stuff.

Nameplate from not-my-office. Threw in the garbage. (I had been cleaning all day which is why I look so sweaty and greasy. I am not as photogenic and cute as Kari, obviously. I think I will be going back to photos of just the stuff.)

OK, some backstory. I used to be a radio DJ, and I went by the name Kennedy on the air. When Joe Kennedy retired from the division I worked in when I first came to Statistics Canada, I lifted his name plate since I thought it would be neat. It's been collecting dust for three years. And I'm not a DJ anymore.

these are a whack of bingo cards from sunday night bingo that i brought home because i will totally make some sort of art with it.

that was four months ago, and i had completely forgotten about them until i opened a drawer this morning and they popped out.

beer cozy.

i won this at trailer park bingo one sunday night at the local drinking hole.

it is a beer cozy, however, it doesn't really keep beer cold. therefore, even though she's got a really nice rack, it is being gifted to one of the regulars at the tavern.
